Our Mission: To build a positive outlook for inner-city youth to pursue their educational goals though mentorship and community resources. We identify the needs of our community and our vision is to create a better future for the youth.
Founded by Al Cervantes, Chicano Mentoring Association provides resources and support for inner-city youth in Santa Ana, California. Our Organization will extend its help to more families in more Southern California counties. Academics, Sports, and the Arts are Chicano Mentoring Association’s core pillars. 42% of students’ dropout of high school in Santa Ana, California, or receive little to no education at all. By providing opportunities, mentorship, sponsorship and hosting community events, our organization with funders’ help, invests in these communities’ future.
